The Elman Wall, Summit Advisory and Cavendish Ware teams are excited to be getting involved in the Family Holiday Association’s annual event, Seaside Walk Week. It’s taking place from Saturday 22 July – Sunday 30 July and the aim of the week is to encourage the nation to explore the Great British coastline with friends and family and discover the magic of holidays by the sea.
They are hosting five official walks throughout the week, kicking off in Scarborough as part of Scarborough’s maritime festival, Seafest, on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July. The grand finale will take place in North Cornwall on Sunday 30 July with a walk around the beautiful National Trust owned Trevose Head and a BBQ on the beach to end the day.
The Elman Wall team are taking on the challenge of the Thames Treasure Trail, a walking event with a twist, designed to test your mind and guide you off the beaten track. Teams will be given clues and questions that take you on a trail across the Thames and allow you to discover fascinating gems of London’s history. The aim of the quiz is to beat the other teams to the finish line by following the clues and accurately answering as many questions as possible. The prize-giving will take place at a pub in central London where the quickest (and most accurate) team will win the treasure!
Having taken on the challenge in 2016, the Elman Wall Group is back and determined to win the crown this year! It’s a brilliant event for those working or living in London as it takes place after working hours on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 July. We have signed up for the Wednesday and challenge you to organise a team of four from your office!
Elman Wall have supported the Family Holiday Association for many years, sharing the desire to spread happiness and create cherished memories for children and families who are often in desperate circumstances. All profits from Seaside Walk Week will go towards sending more struggling families away on breaks to provide some relief from life’s hardest challenges and create memories that will last a lifetime.
