Members of the Elman Wall Team have recently been busy raising money for charity.
On Saturday 1st August, Ann-Marie did the Surrey Mighty Hills Hike for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 26.5 mile hike started in Guildford and went right through Boxhill and Reigate, ending up at Redhill
It was a busy weekend because the next day, Sunday 2nd August, Adam did the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 which saw him also take on Box Hill and the even bigger ascent of Leith Hill. Adam’s ride was in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The beautiful view from Box Hill
Finally, a few weeks ago a team of Elman Wall runners were due to do the J P Morgan 5k run for the Family Holiday Association. Unfortunately this was on the same day as the London Tube Strike so didn’t end up happening.
However, to make up for this, that evening Sebastian did a 7.3k run after work as a way of thanking all those who donated to the team.
A promise is a promise and here is proof of Seb’s efforts that evening…
